Running Te Araroa
On Nov 11, 2019, I set off to run the length of NZ along the Te Araroa Trail. I did it…in 66 days and 7 hrs.
The Te Araroa runs 3,000km from Cape Reinga at the very top of the North Island to Bluff at the bottom of the South. These are the entries written from and about that run – the two island reports, the training behind it, what went in the pack, what I ate, and how I held my head together when the trail got hard.
- Packing for a 66-day run across NZ
- Food, glorious food
- Mental toughness
- How the heck do you train for a 3,000km run?!
